EUCRE ANYONE?
​
Starting May 15th, Branch 350 will host Eucre card play. Eucre is a trick-taking card game commonly played in Canada, Australia, and Great Britain. It is normally played with a deck of 24, 254, 28, or 32 standard playing cards. There are normally four players, two on each team, although there are variations for two to nine players.
​
The first session kicks off at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th. For more information, call the branch.

With the expiry of the COVID extended terms of office, elections were held during the April General Meeting for branch officers to begin their term of office starting 1 June 2024 and running through 30 May 2026. We would like to say thank you to our departing officers and welcome returning and new officers.

The LAST fish fry for the fall/winter 2024 fish fry season will be Friday, 26 April 2024 from 4-7 p.m. Thank you to the volunteers and all who came out to support the Branch 350 Fish Fry. We hope to see you all again in the Fall of 2024 for another Fish Fry season.
We anticipate begining the 2024 spring/summer BBQ season the May 17-19th weekend. Stay tuned for details.

Veteran Woman Writers Workshop

The Writers Collective of Canada (WCC) is kicking off 2024 with a new series of workshops for Veteran women and they would like our help in spreading the word. They are especially looking for woman from Ontario and hope you can help reach them.
​
WCC workshops build connection with self and others in a brave,. confidential space. They are less about a final"product" and more about the process of exploring our own unique stories in a supportive community.
​
The workshop "A Force for Women: Her Story" launches January 18th and we hope that you will help spread the word to any and all female veterans that you may know.
​

Requested but Not Granted Member Access?

If, as a member, in good standing of Branch 350, you have requested access to the member's only portion of the website but have not yet been granted access, it may be an issue with your email address.
​
You need to have an email address on file with the branch and IT NEEDS TO MATCH the email address you used in trying to gain access to the site.
​
If you don't have an email address on file with the branch OR used a different email address to request access to the site, you will NEED to update your legion email address to the one you have used to request access to the site. The two addresses must match.
​

The Legion is proud to support crucial initiates in support of Veteran's health and wellbeing. From funding support programs to creating safe spaces where Veterans can share their experiences with one another, we work tirelessly to ensure Veteran's and their families have access to the resources they need t0 thrive.
With the Poppy Campaign fast approaching, there will be countless ways you can give back to Canada's Veterans. Whether you volunteer, donate to the campaign or raise awareness about veterans' needs, there's something everyone can contribute this fall​​.

Volunteers Help the Legion Succeed

We can't say it often enough. The Legion's volunteers are the heart of our organization.
Our members, along with countless student volunteers, veterans, and members of the community looking to give back, help our branch run, organize important community events and, most importantly, allow us to do the most we can to to support and honour Canadian veterans.
With the first annual National Legion Week coming up next month, there are sure t0 be plenty of exciting new ways you can get involved. Contact the branch to find out how you can get involved.

"Members Only" Access​
The website administrator has received an initial membership list from the membership chair and has been working to catch up and process all the requests. If we were unable to verify membership status, you should have received an email, Either you are not a member of branch 350 (feel free to join) or the email address on file in our membership records does not match the email address you used to request access. In either case, your request will remain pending for 30 days to allow you to resolve any issues.

​SMOKING POLICY
​
We encourage one and all to enjoy our new facility but want to remind all that smoking is prohibited within 9 meters, or 30 feet, of the building, The bucket out front, under the bench, is for patrons to extinguish their cigarettes, cigars, etc. prior to entry into the building. If you desire to smoke while at the Legion, there is a bucket located along the waterfront railing in the parking lot. Please use that area to enjoy your smoke and use the bucket to dispose of any remains.

SITE ACCESS FOR BRANCH MEMBERS​
If you are a member, in good standing, of Branch 350, you may request access to the "members only" section of this website. The website administrator will confirm your membership with the membership chair and grant you access. You may retain your access as long as you remain a member in good standing.
​
